Appeals Court Rules To Remove Rahm Emanuel Off Chicago Mayoral Ballot

January 24, 2010
By Ladyglen

CHICAGO - By a vote of 2 - 1 the Appellate Court of Cook County has voted to remove Rahm Emanuel from the upcoming Chicago Mayoral Ballot stating:

OPINION

The petitioners, Walter P. Maksym, Jr., and Thomas L. McMahon,

filed written objections to the candidacy of the respondent, Rahm

Emanuel (the candidate), who seeks to be a candidate for Mayor of

the City of Chicago in the Municipal General Election to be held on February 22, 2011. After an evidentiary hearing, the Board of

Election Commissioners of the City of Chicago (the Board) dismissed the objections and ruled that the candidate was entitled to have his name included on the ballot as a mayoral candidate. The petitioners sought judicial review in the circuit court of Cook County, which confirmed the decision of the Board. The petitioners now appeal. For the reasons that follow, we reverse the circuit court’s judgment, set aside the Board’s decision, and order that the candidate’s name be excluded (or, if necessary, removed) from the ballot for Chicago’s February 22, 2011, mayoral election.

CHICAGO – Chicago Police canvassing a homicide scene on 1300 W. Hastings Tuesday morning retrieved video from Chicago Housing Authority cameras that ultimately led them to the two culprits.

Angelo Cobbins, 17, of the 1300 block of W. Roosevelt Road and a 15-year-old juvenile co-offender were charged with one count each of First Degree Murder and Robbery.

Area Four Detectives were assigned to investigate a murder in which a 59-year-old victim identified as Benjamin West of the 1200 Block of Austin Boulevard in Chicago was found unclothed and unresponsive just before 7 a.m. on January 4, 2011. Investigators observed cameras in the area and reviewed the footage, which revealed a vehicle circling the scene shortly after the incident occurred.

Detectives searched the area for a vehicle matching the description, and soon located one in the vicinity. Further investigation led them to Cobbins' residence, where Detectives were given permission to search the premises. Shortly thereafter Cobbins was placed into custody and transported to Area Four for processing, where he subsequently was charged.

Investigators learned robbery motivated the beating death, and that a 15-year-old male accomplice was involved with Cobbins. On January 6th, officers with the Chicago Fugitive Apprehension Section and Great Lakes Regional Task Force located the second offender in Stone Park, and placed him into custody. Charges were approved last night.

Cobbins and the juvenile offender have appeared in bond court.

Chicago’s Mayoral Race Heats Up With Jennifer Hudson, Ernie "Mr. Cub" Banks and Former President Bill Clinton Campaigning for Rahm Emanuel - Danny K. Davis Speaks Against Bill Clinton Electioneering for Emanuel

Tuesday, December 28, 2010
By Ladyglen

CHICAGO - While Chicago area African American leaders are calling for Chicago African American mayoral candidates to band together to provide one strong mayoral hopeful, Rahm Emanuel has enlisted the help of Jennifer Hudson, Ernie "Mr. Cub" Banks and former president Bill Clinton in his quest to become Mayor of the City of Chicago.

In response to Emanuel’s snagging of Bill Clinton to campaign for him, African American mayoral candidate Danny K. Davis has issued a statement urging Bill Clinton not to become involved in the Chicago Mayoral Election stating:

"While we recognize the right of any individual to endorse and support any candidate that they so choose, I am seriously concerned and disturbed by press reports that former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to come to Chicago to campaign for Rahm Emanuel, who is a candidate for Mayor.

The African American community has enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with the Clintons, however it appears as though some of that relationship maybe fractured and perhaps even broken should former President Clinton come to town and participate overtly in efforts to thwart the legitimate political aspirations of Chicago’s Black community.

We respectfully request and urge former President Clinton not to become involved in the Chicago Mayoral Election."

Rahm Emanuel has already enlisted the help of two prominent African American Chicagoans with an endorsement from Ernie "Mr. Cub" Banks and a fund-raising concert by Chicago’s own "Dreamgirl" Jennifer Hudson to take place on January 10, 2011 at the House of Blues. J-Hud will be performing free of charge with proceeds from the door to go to the Emanuel for Mayor Fund.

· William Balfour considered armed and dangerous

· 7 year old African American boy named Julian King

· 1994 White Chevy Suburban, License Plate Number X584859

· Chrysler Concorde 4 door sedan

Chicago police releases a mug shot photo of the alleged suspect (William Balfour) and reports that he is allegedly involved with Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia.

Chicago Police takes William Balfour into custody but have no sign of Julian King.

October 25, 2008

Julian King still missing. Video of Julia Hudson asking for the safe return of her son and for the public’s prayers surfaces. The Amber Alert still in effect...The Hudson family releases photos of what Julian King was possibly dressed in. The FBI joins in the search for Julian and the 1994 white Chevy Suburban.

October 26, 2008

The Chicago police passes out flyers containing information about Julian King and the circumstances following his disappearance and to aid in help finding the child in the vicinity of 75th Street and Halsted.

Jennifer Hudson and family offers a $100,000 reward for the safe return of Julian King.

Police do not have a motive for the killings of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson and brother Jason Hudson but have called the case “domestic related.” Suspect William Balfour had not been charged. The Cook County Medical Examiners Office confirms that Jennifer Hudson had identified the bodies of her mother and brother.

Suspect William Balfour is transferred out of police custody and turned over to the Illinois Department of Corrections. Police states that the transfer of Balfour was “based on his active parole violation unrelated to this investigation.” Balfour was on parole for an unrelated crime where he had spent nearly seven years in prison.

October 27, 2008

The white SUV belonging to Jason Hudson is found on Chicago’s west side with the body of a young boy dead inside. Neighbors said the vehicle had been parked there on the street for 2 - 3 days.

Later in the day it was confirmed that the body of a young boy found inside the white SUV was indeed Julian King. It was reported that Jennifer Hudson identified the body as her missing nephew at the coroners office today.

October 28, 2008.

Chicago police releases an updated mug shot of the ‘person of interest’ William Balfour.

Chicago authorities say that 7 year old Julian King died of multiple gunshot wounds. The medical examiner rules Julian’s death a homicide.

October 29, 2008

Chicago police discover a gun in an alley near the site of where Julian Kings body was found inside the SUV. Police leak to the media that a “tip” informed them that they “saw someone in a white SUV driving up and down the alley and throwing something out of the window.”

December 1, 2008

Chicago police officially charge William Balfour with the murders of Jennifer Hudson’s family. Balfour is arrested at Statesville Prison while serving time for parole violations.

December 2, 2008

William Balfour’s attorney, Joshua Kutnick states that “The delay between the crimes and his actual arrest show weaknesses in the case.” Also, “This case is not a strong case against William. He is a convenient suspect.” Balfour charged with three counts of first- degree murder and one count of home invasion.

December 3, 2008

Suspect William Balfour has bond hearing. Bond is denied. Prosecutors outline case that is mostly circumstantial. Balfour’s attorney, Joshua Kutnick tells the judge there are no witnesses to the slayings and no connection between Balfour and the weapon that is believed to have been used in the shootings. Prosecutors states that Balfour killed Darnell Donerson, Jason Hudson and Julian King in a “jealous rage” after discovering that his “estranged wife” Julia Hudson was seeing another man.

December 30, 2008

William Balfour officially indicted. In court, defense attorney Joshua Kutnick asked the judge if Balfour could be moved from the state prison to Cook County jail to make communicating with his client more accessible. The judge delayed ruling on motion to January 20, 2009.

January 27, 2009

Judge approves moving suspect William Balfour closer to his lawyer.

February 23, 2009

Balfour’s attorney, Joshua Kutnick withdraws from case stating that he believes William Balfour is innocent but that he cannot financially support such a high-profile case alone.

August 18, 2009

August 18, 2009, William Balfour, defendant in the Jennifer Hudson family murders appeared in court. Defendant wore a prison issued beige D.O.C. uniform and sported a short cropped hairstyle. Defendant was surrounded by guards as he stood before the judge. Balfour did not speak and appeared polite and respectful to the judge and his public defenders. A large cart containing files was wheeled into the court. The defendant’s public defenders asked for a continuation to conduct additional discovery. Judge Lawrence Fox granted the defense motion.. The judge scheduled the next court date in the matter September 30, 2009.

September 30, 2009

William Balfour appears in court in regards to the Hudson family murders. The case appears to be moving right along with the attorneys continuing with discovery. DNA evidence disclosed in court today in the form of a “cigarette butt” “outside of residence” and “rear of vehicle” and a “bottle” Judge Lawrence Fox informs attorneys of Supreme Court “Rule 416." The defense has requested a jury trial.

November 30, 2009

William Balfour appears in court charged with the murder of Jennifer Hudson’” s mother, brother and nephew. Judge Lawrence Fox orders SUV impounded and issues an “order of consumption.

January 13, 2010

William Balfour appears in court in the matter of the Hudson family murders. Court session last less than five minutes. A “Stay of court” is requested and granted by the judge.

******************************************************

It is this reporters observation that, judging by the defendant’s brief appearances in court, William Balfour acts and behaves like an innocent man. He is cool, calm and collected. Extremely patient and very well behaved in court. Despite the fact that the trial keeps getting continued and the pre-trial procedures are moving along slowly, not once has Balfour lost his cool.

It is my opinion that William Balfour’s demeanor in court supports the statement of his former defense attorney, Joshua Kutnick …“The delay between the crimes and his actual arrest show weaknesses in the case”, “He has exhibited, to me, patience.” and “he understands that this case is not going to be over this week or next week or next month. He realizes in order for us to establish that he’s not guilty that we’re going to have to go through all the steps of fighting the case” to be true.

FOR COLORED GIRLS

When I first heard of the movie "For Colored Girls" I got so excited. I had the idea of getting as many women together that I could think of to go see this movie. I had visions of group discussions and moments shared with one another that would lead to healing and growth, I guess I kind of imagined a Womens Empowerment Conference type of setting.

Well after I shared my idea with a few women, reality set in and I realized that so many of us wouldn't be willing to participate for various reasons: You don't like me, you don't care for somebody I might invite, you only hang out with certain people, you don't understand the big deal about Tyler Perry making yet another movie about black people and our issues for all the world to see, you don't like crowds, so n so is too ghetto, such and such is too uppity etc... It has ALWAYS amazed me that we as black women are each others biggest critics. We are the quickest to bring each other down, find each others faults and nit pick at a sister until she has nothing left, nothing left to give and then we step over her and call her worthless. We take the prettiest women and tear them down for thinking "they are cute" but turn around and dog the average sista because "she know she should take better care of herself than that - can't believe she got a man!" We call strong women female dogs and accuse weaker women of riding somebody else's coat tails. We tell a big sista to put down her burger and turn around and criticize a skinny woman for not picking one up. We ride the loud mouth woman for "talking to darn much" and likewise torment the quiet woman for "Being too quiet and needing to take up for herself" Sad part is we don't discriminate, we talk about everybody!!!

I've watched women dog out everybody from Oprah for catering to white people and Halle Berry for not being able to keep a man to young Willow Smith for acting to darn grown in her recent video. All of these females are successful and there is something about each one of them to be proud of but a lot of us can't seem to see that. I have to wonder since we all share a common thread (whether we want to admit it or not) is there something about ourselves that we don't like, what has happened to us that we cannot seem to get along. Why is that we fight amongst ourselves, backstab & steal each others men(only to find out we should have left him where we found him). We cannot seem to be unified to support and stick up for one another. Everybody seems to be out for themselves while other groups unite against us but nobody else has to bring us down because we trample on the spirits of each other daily.

Even if you live in a mini mansion, drive a luxury car, have good credit, rich handsome husband etc, this does not mean that you should look down your nose at the woman with 4 kids, no husband, living in income based housing struggling to keep her lights on. We ALWAYS think the grass is greener on the other side, I had a woman who's child father is MIA tell me that I should never complain because I receive a decent amount of child support and I laughed and let her know that I would gladly give every dime back if he would come relieve some of this overwhelming pressure of feeling inadequate as a parent. If I could get just one full night of sleep or not always be on the verge of losing my job because Im the one that has to call off or leave work for one reason or another to accommodate my child - yeah he could DEFINITELY have his money if I could have some peace! Money alone doesn't make you happy (not true happiness), good credit doesn't keep you satisfied, beauty doesn't make you any less insecure, fame doesn't make you less vulnerable or cause you to be a good judge of character and being stuck up and mean doesn't keep you warm at night or prevent you from being lonely.

You don't know how the sista sitting right next to you could have carefully put on her make up this morning to hide the beating from last night. The teacher you handed your child over to this morning could have sent her children off to school from a dark house with empty bellies. The teller you just got rude with at the bank could know that today is her last day on her job and have no idea how she is going to survive past next weekend. The sista at the office that appears so busy could be typing her goodbyes to all the people that she loves because she plans to blow her brains out tonight after she tucks her babies into bed. The woman you pass in the hallway could be on her way to have an abortion because she fears what others might think.

Ladies we HAVE TO DO BETTER!!! I'm not suggesting that we all like each other and be phony, But I am asking that we all try to respect each other. You HAVE NO IDEA what the next woman is going through, you don't know what past or current hurt and pains have shaped her into who she is today. We spend so much time trying to be as strong and hard as we are expected to be that we end up cracking from the inside out piece by piece. If we would spend 1/3 of the time we spend tearing each other down to build someone up, encourage someone, show someone some love, we could truly make a difference and save someone's life. PLEASE don't be the straw that breaks another woman's back. Believe me when I tell you that there is a woman out there that needs your smile, your hug, your support, your prayer.

I hope that you read this and get something out of it other than a laugh and that you pass this on to as many women as you can to let someone know that you believe they are somebody special and that if need be you are available to listen. Nothing bad is going to happen if you don't forward this e-mail but I'd like to think that something positive will happen if you choose to pass it along. May favor be extended to each and everyone of your lives, keep your head up and know that someone somewhere cares!!!

Milam (the main suspects in the murder), were acquitted by a jury of (12 white men) their peers.

Da Bus Ride! (Part 1 of 3)

Tony Parker awakes this Monday morning eager to get his bus ride over. With a herbal cigarette poking from his face and attempting to open a cold Heineken beer, with one drag and a deep swallow he begins to mentally count his money that was neatly folded in a white envelope addressed to 'Solo', his alter ego, the street tycoon. It is said that no one alive but his mother knows his government name and it continues to be that way, thanks in part to this tribute left to the name of Solo. For many tried to guess his name for a price and paid when they lost and even paid when they won.

Solo hated taking 'Da ride.' A round trip bus ride he took twice a week, once on Monday mornings and then again on Thursday nights. Solo believed that public transportation was the wave of the future. By using the buses as mules, his workers were dropping off and moving product all over Chicago...on the bus. Solo had his crew transporting drugs, guns and women on the bus lines of Chi-town. There was no other way for him to get his product across town, for he didn't believe in a car system of having dope in or on your person while driving. He was always worried about theft from rival crews or the cops.
But, the bus held its own brand of fear and paranoia. The sights and sounds may be a nightmare for some who ride the bus but, for Solo, it was strictly to get paid, watch his mules and protect them from harm. A straight line up Seventy-Ninth Street may cost $1.50 for a person to ride the bus, all the while underneath their clothing or in a backpack, the carrier may be carrying thousands of dollars worth of dope or they might be receiving the same but, only in money. This transportation of drugs and materials by bus earned Solo millions on the streets.

Solo commanded the muscles of the operation to serve and protect him, the brains as he likes to call himself, twenty-four hours a day. He preached that, "If they cut off the head, then the body is dead" and that at all costs, the head must be protected through any type of weather.
The cell phone sounds a pick-me-up alarm and Solo strolls towards the gray Samsung video phone attached to his coat pocket. The voice on the other end squeaks of a half sleepy melody of, "Solo, I can't ride today. I ate spoiled fish last night and my insides are raw to the touch. Can you ask another to secure the girls this morning?" For one moment, a pause of what seemed like eternity, was interrupted with a Barry White voice, Solo said, "I'll make the run with the crew this morning. You get some rest." Solo signed off and prepared himself for anything that might come today.

The drop was on Seventy-Ninth and Kingston and Solo and his crew had to start from Seventy-Ninth and Ashland Avenue. The two men and one woman crew were all packing something. The girl, K-smooth, she had the crack and the weed and the men, they had her back. T-Bone, the soldier, was armed with two types of firearms. A mini machine gun and a Beretta hand gun. Bone was always ready for action at a moments notice. Solo carried only one gun, a 9mm and plenty of clips for nigga asses or the cops.

Ten bus stops later, near the Dan Ryan, a departure point for people riding the elevated trains, Solo's attention was being pulled away from his crew. He eyed a group of guys attempting to board the bus. Solo felt as if trouble was coming before it arrived on the bus, at least that's what he tried to tell himself. It's a summer day, about 90 degrees outside and everyone standing awaiting the bus was hot and tired. They all want to get home. So, rushing and charging the back door of the bus is four trouble makers, pushing and shoving people out of the way. The four young guys seemed to be dressed alike. They were wearing baggy blue jean-shorts and blue and gold Simeon Vocational High School T-shirts, the name of their high school. "These high school kids," Solo mumbled under his breath, "don't have any respect."

Solo watches as the four kids maneuver their way through the tight aisle of the crowded bus and fought the urge to smack one or all of the kids. He heard the scream coming from the lady two seats ahead of him and his crew looked as if they were about to go to war. But, they were mistaken. This time the call to arms was not at hand for the three man band. One of the kids made an attempt to ease into an open seat and he accidentally stepped on the toes of one woman and kicked the feet of another helpless victim in his eagerness to ride in style, next to an open window.

The bus was full of people trying to improve or upgrade their seats. It was like first-come-first-served or musical chairs, someone will lose a seat and someone will gain a seat.

Solo saw that the drama had come to a halt for mostly everyone had a place to rest their weary bones. He could now refocus his attention back to completing his mission of pickup and delivery. It was only four big stop lights now, he thought to himself while glancing at the back of the heads of the many people walking. He also saw the street dealers, those guys who are just standing in one place or posted up on the many corners passing substances of "quick fixes" to the hundreds of zombies that roam the strip of Seventy-Ninth Street.

From Solo's window seat, in his chariot, he could feel the atmosphere on the bus becoming calm and relaxed. The entire bus was jamming to the tunes blaring from the convoys of cars parading through their respected neighborhood, as if they were all racing towards someone or place in particular. From the corner of his eye, Solo thought that he saw one of the dozens of peddlers for the block, a bootleg CD hustler but, he was mistaken yet once again.

Solo couldn't believe his ears when the voice said "Kingston." This was wild, for the first time ever, Solo couldn't remember when he heard a bus driver call out his street name and the name of the next stop for at least three passengers. Solo figured that since there wasn't any trouble on the bus ride here, then the rest of the task would go down smooth as a baby's bottom.
He was wrong. The bus bypassed his stop due to the fact that behind him was two other buses and so he made them disembark at Colfax Street, the next drop off point. Upon stepping off the bus, Solo got a phone call from his guy asking where he was and whether he'd miss the bus. Calm and in control, Solo walked over to the alley of Colfax and said, "I'll await your arrival. Have all of my cash. I must make a dash." The guy laughed, saying "Solo, your ass can't rhyme a bit. I got your money."

As the light went off on the cellular phone, a strange feeling of being watched overcame Solo and his crew at the same time. It was as if they all sensed that the streets were checking them out. At 8:45 p.m., the street was teeming with life just ripe for murder or a stick-up. If anyone attempted any aggressive act, Solo was ready for them. At the slightest twinge or movement of the shadow, he or his crew would blast a hole in anyone's head.

Da Bus Ride! (Part 2 of 3)

They saw the cops arresting small time dealers and the ladies of the evening propositioning the drivers of empty cars as they zoomed through this swap meet of drugs and flesh. Guy and two of his soldiers soon found Solo and his crew. They exchanged pleasant greetings while looking over each others shoulders for security reasons. The time was right to make the switch. Cash for drugs. With the timing of track stars, they exchanged items like relay runners passing a baton with flawless accuracy which could have earned them the gold medal.

All around them it felt like the police were making arrests on every corner. The tension was so thick in the alley you could slice it with a knife. Everyone was on edge, reaching into their pockets, patting themselves down, checking and rechecking themselves for the firearms that they carried.

Children of the neighborhood ran freely on this beautiful summer night playing hide-and-go-seek, chasing each other up and down the streets as well as through alleyways. The bands of drug dealers were unaware of the kids roaming the alleys but, the kids were well aware, unlike the cops, someone was in the alley. Suddenly a noise and then a shadow of one or more figures caught the eyes and ears of the lookouts. They turned on cue, like a dog sensing trouble in the air and drew their weapons in unison. Aiming their guns in the direction of a fence adjacent to the gathering place and without words they motioned for all involved to take cover.

Two of the security team leaped into action and arrested two kids hiding alongside of a garage, stuck guns into their mouths not realizing until the street lights shined upon their faces that they were children. One of the ghetto cops pulled back his hammer to fire and leave no witnesses to the transaction. A code of the street states that if you find yourself having the drop on someone, kill them dead. As the bullet was freeing itself from the 9mm chamber of the shooter, Solo caught just a piece of his arm and knocked the deadly projectile off course. The kids shitted on themselves and ran away scared out of their minds screaming "we promise we wont tell!" Solo had killed before but, not kids. His conscious just wouldn't allow innocent children to be lost at the hands of his misfortunes. Killing cops is one thing but, children can burn your soul.
The two businessmen, Solo and Guy, looked at each other with a look of comfort for their muscle men had earned their pay.

Guy said, "The hood seemed to be infested with cops," and Solo, happy with his crew, just wanted to fly away from here as soon as possible. Guy checked the stash and he applauded Solo for always having the best street dope in the west, a little joke he would use on every other dealer who is holding great stuff. Guy gave his soldiers the sign. At that moment Solo thought, This is it. They are going to try something but, it turned out that what he saw was the gleam of happiness twinkling in the eyes of Guy. The deal was over and everything went OK. All were satisfied.

Solo always had a backup plan for when the deal was done. He relied on being prepared for what ever. He called for his escape plan, the get-away car. Before meeting up with his two-men crew, Solo arranged for another member of his crew to have an unknown car parked and waiting. Solo saw this trick being used by gangsters one night while watching television. The boss thought ahead and faster than his partners in crime did. In case of an emergency, the smart guy had another way out for extra incentive to assure that a vehicle is stationed on call. Solo played his cards and had his team on streets awaiting the call. They parked the truck in or around the area of the drop, just in case the deal went wrong or veered off course. The S.U.V., a black Cadillac truck was parked around the corner from Kingston in the alley of Phillips Street with an arsenal of weapons, no drugs and two more thugs called the "hit men."

"Pick me up on Phillips." Solo said through his two-way cell phone. "Be there in four," from the driver of the truck on it's way to retrieve the head man in charge. As the truck stopped at a stop sign, the passenger begins to roll the 'weed of celebration.' Solo promised them that on the way home they would "smoke the truck out," if and only if the deal went down as planned. While pulling up to transport the three bus riders, the back door opened slowly and in jumped the boss, Solo, followed by K, the package holder and then, after making a hard reconnaissance of the area, T-Bone, the last member, soon got into the truck. T-Bone put all of the guns in a secret compartment which was built into the truck. It had cost Solo a pretty penny to have this feature installed but, it was worth it for many a time the stash box has saved Solo from being found guilty of a gun charge.

They held their breath as the truck rolled to a complete stop. From the crowed that had gathered ahead of them, about a half a block away, the streets were teeming with life. This felt odd to Solo. Why is there so many people looking, standing and walking in the middle of the streets, he thought to himself. "Make that next alley on the right." Solo said from behind the driver. Unable to smoke, the driver felt his heart begin to race while doing forty miles an hour through the alley, scared of what was going on a block ahead of them. With two blows from the horn, the truck made it safely across the interse
ction connecting Seventy-Ninth to Eighty-First Street. There they soon calmed down, with the help of weed in their lungs and a clear pathway to the Bat Cave Solo liked to call his home.
'Blazing the broccoli' on the road or 'driving while smoking,' felt like the right thing to do after scoring big without taking that much of a risk became one of Solo's rituals. He showed his team that once the job is completed, the fun can soon begin and the only way they could have fun is to never let them catch you and always have a back-up plan.

Da Bus Ride! (Part 3 of 3)

As they pulled up to one of Solo's many houses the weed was resonating through the apple and cream scent coming from the car air freshener. It marinated and mixed with the herb making an all new fragrance. Solo wanted to place his money into one of the safes he had planted throughout his house. "Stay here and wait for me." Solo commanded as he leaped from the truck. T-Bone on instinct, followed his boss. The two men arrived at the side door of his duplex. Bone had his hand on his gun, just in case. Solo opened the door and the alarm went off. He had seconds to deactivate his high tech system before the rent-a-cops arrived. A numbered combination was entered and the house went silent. The two men made their way to Solo's master bedroom. They approached the doorway of the master quarters. A hand reached out to halt T-Bone from entering the suite. Solo motioned for T to wait. Without a word, he used his hands like a crossing guard halts the children. In this case, the child was T-Bone.

An instant awakening, an enlightenment overcame the room and the mumbling of, "twice to right on twenty-four" then go "one passed three, stop on ten," and finally "right to thirteen" mumbled Solo, trying to remember his entry numbers to open his safe, which was housed in the back of a huge walk-in closet. The carpenter said that it would be very hard to install a safety device in a home of this type, for he couldn't believe that a black man from the ghetto was asking for an estimate on this job. Solo, after talking over the phone believed that the carpenter would have a trick up his sleeve. Solo decided to get the ghetto locksmiths to take a look at his ideas. Ghetto engineers install safes of all types, depending on the person and their status in the hood. Their job is to help the dealers keep their money and secure valuable items just like the rich people do. Solo was told about these guys from the very beginning of his drug dealing career. That they protect the crooks and enable them to feel safe by housing their goods in a house safe.

Fifteen thousand dollars was placed into the vault. Another unknown amount was stacked to the side, placed there long before today. Crumpled twenties and wrinkled tens play lonely staring games with one another, awaiting the next crop of cash to arrive from the street corners all owned by Solo. He grabbed a pound of herbal enhancement, a reward that would be shared with his crew tonight at his other Southside pad. The heavy small steel door took longer to close than it did to open. Solo was told that all safes operated that way but, he had to go and party with his crew. Not one for being unsafe, he didn't leave until the door had closed tightly and secure. With one tug at the door handle, Solo reassured himself that the contents of the safe would be okay until he returned.

"Let the party begin," was the slogan rushing from Solo's mouth as he jumped into the back seat of the truck. "Where to?" asked the driver. "To the moon." said Solo. "I'm for real man, we are going to the moon tonight just as soon as we reach the cave. In the trunk of the car, I just placed an elbow for us to smoke all night long." "Solo, do you want me to call the girls?" The driver asked, with excitement in his voice. "Yes and call a few girls for y'all." Solo replied. K-Smooth, the only woman of the crew, was a companion to Solo and shared in the taste of girls just like Solo.

They would together enjoy the pleasure of many females in their time as boss and employee.
Making that phone call and saying that Solo desired some company at his home brought out all types of freaks, all eager to allow Solo and his crew to taste every inch of their naked soul...for a price. Solo was known on the night time scene for throwing the hottest weed and sex parties. No one knew that after a major deal, to unwind, Solo pleased himself by throwing himself a nice job party complete with wall to wall females, drinks and weed to spare. He placed bowls of weed, called "welcome dishes," all around the house. At every turn someone was smoking or sexing, even smoking and sexing at the same time all over the house. Solo was pleased with today's take from the street and it wasn't over for he had tons of drugs on the streets of Chicago and was well aware of the next cash drop that was coming in later tonight.

The music played on and the guests began to explore one another. Women were being straddled with weed joints hanging from their mouth and some of the men laying back in lounge chairs accepting the blessing or offerings of interchangeable women moving from one chair to the next.
Solo felt that his work was done for all of his crew except K. He had other plans for K you see, up in his private room, he had one girl awaiting him and K to arrive. The nakedness of the girl resting on the bed was a welcomed sight for the two partners in crime. They needed to explode in an organic way. A sexy little smile crossed K-Smooth lips as she was blindly lead into the room sensing sex in the air, not knowing that Solo had invited another to join. The door closed and the three became one motion, moving touching and tasting the night away.

The crew awakened to a variety of smells. There was breakfast food in the air, which had been prepared by two of the satisfied women still naked and refreshed from last night. Solo opened his room door holding a huge "Bob Marley" joint, savoring his big score on the streets as well as basking in the glory of hot sex on a platter as he would call it. Not quite ready to abandon the bed, the two girls with the power of their minds, mentally pulled Solo back into bed. His weed burned the sheets but, the women put out the blaze with their hot juices of life. Thirty-five or close to an hour later, Solo emerged feeling brand new and promising that next week would be even better. He would make a lot more money and party like a rock star. His business was a success and the bus routine would serve him well in time.
